Calvary's Mission
Called by God's name
Responding to God's unconditional love for us,
Empowered by the Holy Spirit,
We at Calvary Lutheran Church
Shall serve our local and global community in Jesus' Name
Who We Are

Calvary Lutheran Church is a community
of faith that is inspired by the living Word
of God, which is the final authority in all matters of faith and life. We believe in
the power of prayer, and in a personal relationship with God through Jesus
Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit.
As we actively participate in worship,
we experience the mystery of God
and celebrate God’s grace and
forgiveness. Calvary Lutheran Church
has a vision to continue developing a
place of ministry to fulfill God’s vision.
We claim a future that God has planned
for us, a future that is greater than we
can imagine!
OUR PROFESSION OF FAITH

Apostles’ Creed
The Apostles' Creed is appropriate during Lent and at other times.
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead.*
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
